This stunning large Satsuma vase measures an impressive 37cm high and is 24cm at its widest.
It features many faces of deities or immortals with a white dragon winding through them and has elephant head handles to sides.
The vase has a red and gold backstamp which features the Shimazu crest (unfortunately, I have been unable to trace the mark).
It is in great condition, free from any chips or cracks, with crazing as would be expected from Satsuma and with very slight rubbing to gilding.
